THIS SUNDAY IS YOUTH SUNDAY!

Come and be encouraged as our youth lead worship- ushering , making music, reading liturgy, preaching and experiencing the living God in this place.

We take heart this Sunday in the promise of God found in Jeremiah 29:11...

"I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you; plans to give you a hope and a future." To this end, the Holy Spirit has come to dwell in us, never leaving our side no matter what season of life we're in and no matter what difficult circumstance we may be facing. What a thing to celebrate on Youth Sunday and Pentecost as well!

Our God makes everything beautiful in its time, and is constantly yearning that we know him better working for the purpose of our knowing Him better. Let us look to Jesus and be refreshed alongside our youth this weekend.

NEW MEMBERS AND WHAT WE BELIEVE

Due to a number of requests, we'll be offering our two part New Members and What We Believe course THIS Saturday, May 18th and Saturday, May 25th from 10:00 am - noon at Second Presbyterian. New Members Sunday will be on Sunday, June 2nd.

STAR GOSPEL MISSION DEDICATION CEREMONY

You are joyfully invited to attend the dedication ceremony of a new transitional housing residence at 89 Nassau Street, located directly behind the Star Gospel Mission, on Thursday, May 23, 2013 at 5:00 pm.
